We've had the privilege of being part of some amazing projects over the years and have loved bringing these ideas to life. Every project to us is unique. We approach each project with a fresh mindset considering our clients needs, lifestyle, environment and budget.

A BLEND OF MODERN LIVING & TIMELESS TRADITION
When the owners of this stunning Brisbane Street property approached us, their vision was clear: to modernise their home, creating a functional and contemporary space while honouring its historical significance. However, as the property was heritage listed, the project required a delicate balance between innovation and preservation.
Our solution involved a seamless rear extension with modern elements prioritising functionality and natural light, while the original street-facing façade was meticulously preserved to maintain its heritage charm. Inside, period details were complemented by contemporary finishes, creating a space that feels both practical and timeless.
The result is a home that harmonises past and present, offering modern comfort while celebrating its historical roots.

LUXURY LIVING, TAILORED FOR LEISURE
Inspired by their time in America, a Californian-style luxury home significantly influenced the design of this Launceston-based property for Lisa and Clint.
With a shared passion for sport and entertaining, their design brief was clear—this home needed to offer the ultimate in luxury entertainment. A putting green and golf simulator were essential, but they also envisioned a space that provided leisure and enjoyment across all areas. Our focus was on strategically positioning the home to maximise all-day northern sun and capture stunning views of the Tamar River, while creating an immersive experience. Lisa and Clint dreamed of firing up the alfresco kitchen, enjoying a game of tennis, or perfecting their short game on the putting green.
And when the Launceston weather didn’t cooperate, they could retreat to the theatre room for a movie, hit the gym, or unwind by the fireplace with a glass of red. It was also important to them that the design brought the outdoors inside, so we incorporated large glass panelling throughout the home, complemented by internal garden features, ensuring the natural world was always present within their living space.

EMBRACING THE LAND WHILE ENHANCING THE VIEWS
Set on a prime block with expansive, breathtaking views, this home was meticulously designed to prioritise comfort, privacy, and a seamless connection with the surrounding landscape. The layout is future-focused, offering flexible spaces for family visits and the option to transform the downstairs into a lounge or gym, all serviced by an internal elevator. The living areas are strategically positioned to capture the panoramic river and mountain views to the northwest and northeast, creating an ideal environment for both relaxation and sophisticated entertaining.
To complement their lifestyle, the inclusion of a heated lap pool enhances the design, offering a tranquil spot to unwind while enjoying the sweeping views. Every detail has been carefully considered to maintain privacy, with minimal side windows ensuring the home remains a secluded sanctuary, all while embracing the land and elevating the views.

WATER VIEWS OF KOOMELA BAY
Caden and Kirra, a young family with two children, were determined to build their forever home on a steep site with an internal block. The challenge was to design a home that not only made the most of the limited space but also provided a perfect balance of private family areas and beautiful, shared living spaces. Our task was to create a central living area that would capture the stunning water views over Koomela Bay on the River Derwent while allowing for separation between the parents’ and children’s spaces.
An impressive front façade was crucial to Caden and Kirra, reflecting their tastes while also making a grand statement as you enter the property from the internal driveway. Despite some challenging obstacles in getting this home off the ground, the result is a thoughtfully designed split-level layout that complements the striking front façade. The children’s bedrooms are cleverly tucked away, while multiple internal and external entertaining spaces allow for effortless enjoyment of the breathtaking water views.
The balcony offers a perfect spot to unwind, watching the sun set behind the majestic Mount Wellington.

HORSE STABLE TURNED MODERN COUNTRY ABODE
On the outskirts of St Helens, Tasmania, an old, rundown horse stable sat waiting for its transformation. With visionary owners who saw the potential, the space was reimagined into the ultimate one-bedroom rustic farm stay, offering a perfect retreat for family, friends, and tourists visiting the East Coast.
The Allure team was immediately excited to take on this unique project, thrilled by the opportunity to redesign a space that would become a beloved country-style home.
The key goal was to preserve the natural character of the original stable, so many of its existing features were carefully refurbished and repurposed, allowing the building’s history to shine through. While maintaining its rustic charm, the design also incorporates modern touches to enhance the living experience.
The final result is a stunning country-style abode, featuring exposed timber walls, polished concrete floors, and the original structural timber details retained both inside and out. The highlight of the design is the original shingle roof, which adds character and timeless appeal to the entire home.

CRAFTING SPACES FOR LIFE'S BIG MOMENTS
With 2 children under 4 and potentially more on the horizon, Chris & Tierney were in desperate need of a family friendly home for their kids to enjoy a large space.
Chris loves outdoor activities, therefore a large entertaining area was a must. Tierney required a large office space to run her business, and for the kids to have a private study nook for when they started school. We also created a separate playroom for the kids so they could make a mess without interrupting the main living areas of the home, a feature most parents would love!
Situated in hot and dusty Alice Springs, the southern orientation of the block allowed the main bedrooms and living areas to be safely protected by the harsh summer when the sun is highest in the sky. But it also allowed the lower lying winter sun to enter via large highlight windows over the open plan living areas during the colder months. A beautiful home with lots of sunshine and a modern, trendy feel.
THE COSY COASTAL RETREAT

Bill and Marie, well-established in the region, were looking to grow their investment portfolio in the thriving area of Bridport. With a clear shortage of rental properties for young professionals moving to the area, they set out to create a practical and beautiful home tailored to the needs of a young professional couple.
We designed a highly functional two-bedroom house that is both energy and spatially efficient, incorporating simple yet effective architectural features that integrate seamlessly with the landscape. The home also offers sweeping views of the renowned Barnbougle Golf Course and the water beyond, enhancing its appeal.
The design allows for spacious, open-plan living that takes full advantage of natural sunlight from morning to afternoon, capturing the warmth of the sun as it sets behind the hills.
